What they get

More than
a sport.

Jiu-jitsu is problem-solving with your whole body. Kids learn to stay calm, think under pressure and keep trying, and have a lot of fun doing it.

01

Confidence

Every new skill they learn is proof they can do hard things, on the mats and off them.

02

Discipline

Listening, taking turns, following instructions and trying again after a mistake. Habits that last.

03

Fitness

Strength, balance, coordination and flexibility, from an hour on the mats that feels like play.

04

Standing up to bullying

BJJ teaches kids to stay calm and in control without punching or kicking, and gives them the confidence to stand tall.

05

Friendships

The same faces every week, working together and helping each other. Friendships grow on the mats.

06

For parents

Coached, structured classes at times that fit around school, and a healthy way to burn off energy.
